This is the script i will be using for my book review show:
Host: Welcome to the Saturday morning 4-chan book club, todays book has sold over 3million copies worldwide in only a few months, Kafka on shore by Haruki murakami, its a comtempery fiction novel about a boy who runs away from home at the age of 15, it is written in two first person characters taking their personality and atmosphere.
I'm joined today by a special guest,Murakami herself, let me congratulate you on your success, perhaps could give us an insight on what passes for the plot
Marcelo: thank you, as for the plot it it follows two protagonists, kafka and nakata who are both share the same fate, both going about their daily routines
Host: As for the chapters it jumps into different times and places could you tell us why you decided to do things this way
Marcelo: i wanted the book to have its relation to the spiritual world itself being having the audience solve the puzzle and fit pieces together, it seemed a little messy at first but i decided to go with it as the structure soldidates itself during the middle and towards the end.
Host: Why did you choose the lost forrest as the main stage for your story?
Marcelo: the idea of it being a forrest allows me to picture what exactly will be going on, it gives the the idea of trancending to another realm. for example the part where kafka goes to the underworld
I completely agree, what about the characters, i espically intruguied by Kafkas backstory, what gave you the inspiration for each of the different unique characters?
Funny thing is all of the characters were part of my draft expect for Kafka which i came up last with, i starting building a foundation of it and ever since he became the main protagonist.
HOST Some in the entertainment industry wants to use your book and turn it into a movie, what are your thoughts on this?
I have no problems against it, in fact its a fantastic idea, with it being a film i want it to be soley reflected as a film and be its own distinct thing. As for the characters i would want to use with probably be Dylan minnitee from goosebumps.
