From these shows the inspiration i gained from it helped me prep my own in ways such as how the host engages with the guest through how they pause to let the author talk about it instead of the host just talking. The camera angles used it the book show ABC book club allowed me to do something similar into placing the spotlight onto the author.
During rehearsal there wasn't much difficultly involved as the majority of the content was in the text itself such as what the host would say and how the author would respond, for this i've already had a script therefore it was simple by just following the lines on what to say. However with that being said we also had to practice various verbal/non -verbal gestures such using hand gestures when expressing certain words and such. In addition to this the camera angles we planned on using allowed us to throughly think through the process during rehearsal, this gave us extra ideas and really put us on the spot when it came to showing perfect angles when the author and host are communicating with each other.
Our time management during our production was so-so as we filmed a segment of the book show and left it as it is and continued another time, this effected a bit of the quality of the production but it gave us an opportunity to think about how we are to approach it differently to make it better during our off-production period. The teamwork we had in my group was good as we had to rely on each other to move the camera in turns so we get the optimal close up angle for each shot.
