The original intentions of the production was similar to the final product but the only problem we had was with the quality of shots as the lighting wasn't the best.
However it did do its job in terms on providing an insight on the book to the audience, the engages the audience through the suspense of the books content via how it was being introduced.
The focus group feedback gave me A lot of good criticism, the main thing said was the transition between each shot wasn't smooth enough, this was because of the quality of the production, we only had one camera therefore we had to move it according each time we had to use a close up. However with that being said we still need to edit our production therefore doing so will enable it to be more smooth.
The technical features such as lighting was mere at a pass this was because the location we filmed at did not have enough lighting and our equipment did not provide us with the substantial amount of lighting required therefore we plan to change this by adding filters when editing.
Aside from the criticism we had many positive comments stating the fact that we portrayed the book review show as something that would be seen professionally on a Saturday morning tv show.
As for the lighting we didn't have any equipment so we had to use natural light, the footage turned out to be quite yellow. The camera shots were on point, we showed many different angles but we did not include a extreme close up of the book, however we substituted this with a online image.
